Faded Whistle is a Recollection in Lies of P. The Faded Whistle seems to be a memorial item as players can obtain it from a bench with lit candles and the word "Friends" written with chalk on the floor. Recollections are items that players can come across and acquire through regular story progression. Players can keep track of their Recollections from their inventory menu, which will be registered in the Collectable items menu.

Where to Find Faded Whistle in Lies of P
- Players can obtain this item on a bench with candles near Krat City Hall
Couryard Stargazer, after defeating the boss Scrapped Watchman. - NOTE: Some have reported that the whistle didn't appear in their playthrough. Make sure to speak to Toma near the "Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard" Stargazer and exhaust the dialogue to learn about "Murphy" before fighting the main boss. Then proceed to Krat City Hall Stargazer and defeat the Scrapped Watchman.
Where to Use Faded Whistle in Lies of P
- In the "Inside the House in Elysion Boulevard" Stargazer, exit from the door and follow the route until you find yourself on the roof.
- Take the ladder on the the right, near an iron beam. Once you go down talk to a boy in the window with the lights up directly across from the ladder.
- Exhaust the dialog, use the whistle and talk again.
- The lady will reward you with Ergo.

Anyone else have A LOT of trouble finding this damn window again after getting the whistle? Unlike the Weeping Woman, it's in a very unmemorable location.

[spoil] I really wish you could use this in your fight with the Green Swamp Monster, since it's obvious the puppet he uses in his second phase is a Scrapped Watchman[\spoil]

Now, does it have any other uses other then Toma, as I can still use it after selecting it in the the Collection tab of the Bag. If it was a quick item to select, I would think it would be used in NG+ in the boss room, but probably not.

well it didint appear for me amiidetly i did the quest late missed the window compleatly, maby if you dont take the quest before the boss it wont spawn?

WARNING! This item does NOT appear inside [Equipment], instead it's located in [Bag] under [Collectable] (last tab with ring icon) alongside with other collectables and key items, only from there it can be selected and used. Do so while standing near Toma's window. To get to Toma's location it use Stargazer teleport to [Inside the house of Elysion Boulevard] once spawned go through door that in front of you, follow balcony until first ladder down and take it, window located across the street after climbing down the ladder.
