Portrait of a Boy is a Recollection in Lies of P. The Portrait of a Boy is based on the painting in the book, The Picture of Dorian Gray. Recollections are items that players can come across and acquire through regular story progression. Players can keep track of their Recollections from their inventory menu, which will be registered in the Collectable items menu.

  • The Portrait of a Boy can be found on a table in a room through the doorway on the left side upon entering the Black Rabbit Brotherhood hideout, the closest Stargazer is Malum District Town Hall. This area is accessible after defeating the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood

      When discussing the portrait, Geppetto says he commissioned it from an artist named "D. Grey". This has to be a reference to The Picture of Dorian Grey, though in the story Grey is the man being painted, not the painter.

        For people wondering, I don't think you need to interact with it when they tell you to look at it. I think they want you to just look at it, and the nose grows as the story progresses and you tell lies.
