Lies of P The Broken Puppet Quest Guide
Adjacent to the Barren Swamp Stargazer, you will come across a broken white puppet. Engage with the puppet to commence the Side Quest, for which you must showcase specific Gestures that you have already acquired. During your first encounter, you can only demonstrate Clap and Sad Gestures. However, upon acquiring Happy and Anger gestures later in the game, you can return to the puppet and display two more Gestures, thereby completing the Side Quest. Upon successfully demonstrating all available emotions, you will receive a Quartz, signifying the completion of this Quest.

This puppet does not have any unique interactions if you come to him as Carlo despite how he talks about making a human friend. This is pretty lame.

I didn't get the sad gesture because I told the truth to the guy who give it to us, am I f*****?
I mean, look at him, hes small enough that we can carry him back to the Hotel. Yeah yeah I understand he could be dangerous, but we're his only friend :(. I dont want to leave him in the swamp. I mean we have 3 other puppets at the Hotel(P included). If we were able to sent him to the Hotel, I imagine he would have been like a Oedon Chapel Dweller type npc, where at first you're certain he might kill someone, but then is actually one of the nicest ones. Could also go with the narrative of puppets being more human than everyone thinks. Im just making excuses so I can save my little guy :( . Free my man from the swamp he didnt do anything wrong.

If you already have all the emotes on a 2nd playthrough you can give all 4 to the broken puppet to get the quartz and it doesnt change your humanity if you are going for a truth/no humanity run.
