Full Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert Walkthrough

Navigating the sewers

After defeating the White Lady at the Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance, you'll eventually reach the Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert Stargazer. On the left, you'll find a shortcut gate that can be unlocked in the future. To the right, you'll be able to speak to Julian the Gentleman, who asks you to bring him his wife's belongings to remember her by. If you accept, this quest will begin.

Head down the ladder nearby into the culvert. Go through the pipe, descend down the ladder on the other side, then go down the next ladder on the right to get to the bottom level of the culvert. Defeat the three legless puppets in the water, then head through the pipe. Turn right at the corner but don't take the next right yet, grab Gemini's Emergency Protection from the end first. Drop into the hole beyond it.

The path here is linear, simply follow it until you get to a fan, where you'll get ambushed by three legless puppets. Turn left at the fan and continue following the pipe until you emerge out into a small room. Take the stairs ahead upwards. The ladder here goes up to a shortcut gate you can unlock to get back to the White Lady's boss arena. If you turn the corner instead and head through the archway, you'll find a chest at the end guarded by a Brawler Puppet. After defeating it, you can obtain a piece of Quartz from the chest.

Head back and go up the ladder leading into the White Lady's boss arena. You'll also find a Star Fragment on the ground here. Run back to the Culvert Stargazer and make your way back down into the culvert. When you get back, take the path on the right this time. Go up the slope and turn left at the corner to get back outside. A Headless Puppet will come walking down the slope ahead. Defeat it and go upwards. At the end, under the small bridge, is a Puppet Jester hidden within a crate. You can take it out just to be safe, but regardless, you want to go up the ladder on the right.

Defeat the Puppet Maid in the platform ahead. In the lower area to the right, you'll find another Puppet Maid, a Puppet Jester, and a Sawtoothed Wheel. To the left of the main platform, you'll find a staircase going down that leads to a gate you can unlock to open up a shortcut back to the Stargazer. In front of the gate is a Crescent Moonstone.

Head back up the stairs to the main platform and take the stairs going upwards. At the top, you'll find another Puppet Maid. Head up the stairs next to it, where you'll be shot at by a puppet on the rooftop ahead, then go up the staircase on the left. Be careful of the Puppet Jester and turn right at the corner to deal with the Soldier Puppet shooting at you. On the balcony it was standing on, you'll also find a Resplendent Ergo Fragment.

Head back onto the main path and look behind the pile of luggage on the left to find a Special Purification Ampoule. Continue across the bridge, and you'll find Gemini's Iron Protection in the corner to the right guarded by two Soldier Puppets. Enter the doorway next to the item and defeat the three Puppet Babies in the room. Open the safe once it's safe to obtain the Arch Heavyweight Frame.

Exit the room and head down the stairs to the right. On the right, you'll find Julian's puppet wife and on her body, the Wedding Ring. If you go up the staircase behind her, you'll find an Electric Blitz Canister at the top. Head back down the stairs. Before going towards the puppet with the flamethrower, go down the alleyway to the right to find a shortcut gate leading back to the Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance and a Dark Moon Moonstone of the Covenant.

When you're ready, fight the Flamethrower Puppet. If you're sneaky enough, you can deal a Fatal backstab and potentially defeat it in one hit. Under the bridge ahead, you'll find an Advance Crank. Be careful as you approach it as a large flaming boulder will come crashing down from the top of the road ahead. Continue up the road to find two more Flamethrower Puppets. About halfway through on the right, you'll find a Legion Magazine on a ledge. At the end of the road, you'll find your next boss.

 

Boss: Mad Clown Puppet

The top of the road is not the best place to fight to the Mad Clown Puppet, and there's a constant threat of environmental fires and it's narrower than most boss arenas, so lure it down the road for an easier fight. Alternatively, you can run ahead of it, and climb up the stairs to the Estella Opera House Entrance Stargazer. This area is also a decent place to lure it to fight and the stargazer is nearer than the previous.

Its moveset consists of a variety of punches and belly hits. For the most part, you're going to want to hug its backside since most its moves are forward-facing, the exceptions being its twirl attack and sideways arm swipes. After being defeated, it drops a piece of Quartz.

If you fought it on the road, head up to the top of the road. Before you climb up the stairs, look into the alley on the left to find a Star Fragment. Climb up the stairs and you'll find a Radiant Ergo Fragment on the right side. Head up further to find the Estella Opera House.

 

 

Returning to Julian

After activating the Stargazer at the Opera House, you can return to Julian at the Culvert Stargazer to give him his wife's Wedding Ring. He'll apologise for failing to tell you that his wife was a puppet, but will insist that they loved each other very much. You'll then be put in a Lie System Scenario in which he asks you if you've ever heard of a human and puppet in love. If you Lie and say that you saw a message she left saying how much she loved him, he'll ramble on about how puppets have feelings that are not perceptible by humans and give you both the Wedding Ring and the Sad Gesture as a reward.
