Lies of P Pandemonium Notes & Tips
- It takes some patience, but the explosions from the third upgrade are decent. Doesn’t hurt to spam everywhere for a bit of extra damage when enemies are in it.
- Honestly, you likely will not be able to pull off the charge unless you get away or go unnoticed.
- Dodge around while enemies keep taking damage.
- High Acid rate and damage compared to other acid-building (coruption) techniques.

Genuinely don’t get the point of this one, it’s the worst arm in the game, even worse than the default one. It does pitiful damage and even with high advance it takes forever to inflict acid on bosses. Plus, the pools last so long that the explosion is worthless as chances are, whatever you’re fighting won’t be standing in the pool. Even if they do get hit by it, the damage is meh.

u should use it on bosses when they are overwhelmed. Just put acid under them then make critical attack

The three elemental arms shine in NG+ cycles where boss health goes through the roof and everything has 2 health bars. Using the appropriate elemental weakness during boss fights is key to surviving.

Big thing is that enemies won't even notice you're the cause of the damage if you plop down 2 casts or so worth of puddles then lure them into them, so long as they don't detonate. No need to worry about aggro.
Learned this going through the Opera House, around that little alley where you've got two riflemen and the Dimensional Butterfly. Lay a puddle or two, toss a cogwheel into the puddles to lure, and hide before they can see you.
Can also lob the vertical spread over low walls that you know an enemy might be around, or from the high ground, all while doing much the same. Basically it's fantastic for flipping the script and ambushing enemies instead of letting them ambush you.

You can use this to cheese stuff from range and the explosion stagger is decent but puppet string is better for raw damage.

I'm sorry but this thing underperforms quite a bit compared to it's other elemental conterparts... It's not bad, but it's not great either, Only really has use on heavy Fatal attack builds...

what does the second upgrade do? it says it increases the range but i can't tell a difference between charged and uncharged.

The Y axis throw has a surprising amount of range, especially charged. Most ranged enemies will stand there and gawk at you while the acid melts them.
Throwing it in an arc is usually pretty tough to capitalize on, but swapping it to a linear toss is more useful and easier to use, too. The explosion takes too long to happen to properly plan around it. Overall, I think this would be better adjusted if the duration was shortened but the hits/total damage condensed into a smaller timeframe. One little utility I enjoy with this on an advance build is using it to destroy disruption crystals in late game, as you can toss it from a distance and the DoT will destroy the crystal without having to run up and aggro any waiting enemies. Overall, this is a methodical legion arm.
