Amulets in Lies of P are accessories that provide various augments to Pinocchio. These augments usually provide basic raw stat increase to overall attack, defense, and elemental resistance. It is worth noting that amulets also provide added boons or abilities such as increased Stamina Recovery, Increase Charge Attack Damage, or increased Pulse Cells restorative capabilities. While players can equip two amulets when starting the game, and later on will have the ability to have more slots and equip more. How to Unlock More Amulet Slots?
Now that we know the benefits of amulets, there is still a way to get more out of these accessories. It is by unlocking more slots, and equipping more Amulets, and stacking up their added stats and abilities. How can one add more Amulet slots in Lies of P? Players can add more slots by progressing to the P-Organ system, a skill tree that provides even more augments to Pinocchio. By unlocking nodes in the said system, players will eventually unlock more slots.
Amulets play a huge role in improving character builds in Lies of P. The added stats and special abilities of amulets are not to be taken lightly. As it adds another layer of complexity to the player's builds making combat more rewarding and engaging. Taking from personal experience, paying attention to these accessories, in general, is almost a must in Soulslike titles. Accessories in Soulslike provide even more clarity to the build or solidify their effectiveness.
Are there Different Amulets in Lies of P?
There is a considerable amount of Amulets you can find in Lies of P, and these can be acquired in many ways such as loot, boss drops, quest rewards, and purchasable from certain Merchants. There are Special Amulets as well in the game which can only be obtained by exchanging special "boss-type" Ergo to Alidoro the hound.
Players may also acquire enhanced versions of some of the Amulets that are in the game in New Game + and in New Game ++.
Where do I Find Alidoro?
As you progress, you'll come across the St. Frangelico Cathedral location, from the St. Frangelico Cathedral Library Stargazer, you need to ride the lift that will take you to the balcony section of the cathedral. This is where you'll first meet Alidoro the hound, when he asks for a place where he can take refuge, answer Hotel Krat.
You should find him at the hotel by the west wing where Antonia is. Simply speak to him and he will explain how he can offer "legendary treasure" in exchange for powerful Ergo that you acquired from defeating the powerful bosses of the game.
