Fable Arts (Weapon Skills)

Fable Arts in Lies of P are weapon skills bound to a weapon's handle or blade. These weapon skills consist of both offensive and defensive moves, each having its distinct animation and effects when used. In Lies of P, the use of Fable Arts requires a certain number of Fable Slots which is the equivalent of an MP bar. This feature allows players to freely customize weapon blades and handles that have the fable art that they want to use for their builds. As of Patch 1.2.0.0, players will now be able to land attacks better when they use fable arts that consume three or more slots. (includes Fable Arts that stack)

What are Fable Arts in Lies of P?

Fable Arts in Lies of P are weapon skills and it is similar to Elden Ring's Ashes of War. Weapons in Lies of P are divided into two parts, the Blade and Handle and each one has a unique Attack, Defense, or Utility-type weapon skill. Using Fable Arts requires a certain number of Fable Slots which are essentially the MP of a character in games. Fable Slots can be replenished in specific ways such as by using Consumables or by unlocking passive skills from the P-Organ.

Lies of P provides freedom to create a build or a weapon that is based on your preferred playstyle, you can mix and match a blade and handle that consists of defensive tactics, utility, and attacking, as well as a hybrid of both offensive and defensive skills. Players will need to use a Stargazer (which is the equivalent of a bonfire in a Souls-game or a Site of Grace in Elden Ring) to combine a blade and handle into a full weapon.

Where do I find the Fable Arts in Lies of P?

Fable Arts can be considered the game's Weapon Skills. They use up Fable Slots, with each art using up varying amounts of slots. Players can recover Fable Slots by continuously attacking enemies with their Weapons. To review the description of a weapon's Fable Art, proceed to the Bag Menu and cycle to the Weapons or Blade/Handle tabs or to the Equipment Menu to view the weapons that you have in your inventory. The stats of the weapon will show the attacked weapon skill, its effect, and the number of Fable slots consumed when it is triggered.
