Bosses in Lies of P are unique Enemies that are characterized by their much larger Health pool and strength, as well as their unique attack combos and design. Lies of P Bosses can be easily identified by the long HP bar on the screen, along with the Boss name. The Bosses in Lies of P are normally found at the end of a quest, and it is required to defeat them to pass the mission and progress the story. Lies of P Rewards include special bonuses such as unique Weapons or Armor, as well as experience points, Items, and other resources that will improve your Pinocchio's stats and proficiency in combat. Lies of P List of All Bosses Rewards
Common rewards for defeating Bosses are rare Ergo which are valuable Ergo pieces unique to each boss that can be exchanged for special Weapons and Amulets. Players may also obtain unique parts and Materials that can be used to craft equipment such as Legion Arms which can be done at the Venigni Craft Machine in Hotel Krat once it has been unlocked.
Once Players meet Alidoro and gain access to his Merchant stock, he will be able to accept Rare Ergo in exchange for Boss Weapons or Special Weapons, and special Amulets.
Kinds of Bosses in Lies of P
Aside from the required Main Bosses encountered as part of the main storyline vital to gaining Key items, players may also encounter field Bosses, also known as mini-bosses or elite enemies which will display a boss bar upon encounter, but will not display the Eliminated logo upon defeat. Mini-bosses are usually smaller optional bosses that can be defeated to obtain additional valuable Materials and rewards but are not likely to drop unique Rare Ergo like the main bosses.

Boss Combat Tips for Lies of P
Lies of P Boss Fight Showcase
We have seen boss fight showcases from Lies of P, and they all feature different combat styles, weapons, and attack patterns. These are some of the things that players must learn as well and adapt to them, to defeat bosses in Lies of P. Bosses in Lies of P are important fights as they indicate story progression, and can unlock new areas for you to explore, and extend the game experience.
You will be able to recognize the presence of a boss fight in Lies of P when you see a unique name over their Health Bar, which is usually located at the bottom of your screen. Bosses in Lies of P have humongous health, which is why you must have a good understanding of how boss fights work in Lies of P.
- Check your Gear - Similar to other Souls-like games, it is always important that your gear is up-to-par. There are options for you to upgrade your weapons so you can deal enough damage to your foes- bosses included.
- Using Pulse Cells - The Pulse Cell functions similarly to an Estus Flask, a crucial item that players will use throughout their game. This item is used to replenish Pinocchio's health. These cells can be used 3 times, but the charges should be increased as you progress your game. The notable thing about Pulse Cells is that they can be recharged throughout a fight by attacking enemies, allowing the fight to go on, and the player will be able to gain a charge on their Pulse Cells.
- Swapping Equipment - As players discover the strengths and weaknesses of the bosses that they will be fighting, players are free to switch and swap their Equipment at will. This will also allow customization and control over how players want to tackle a fight.
- Perfect Guards - We have seen in the demo showcase that Pinocchio is able to execute a Perfect Guard- a move familiar to souls-like fans which is the best strategy when it comes to fending attacks. If the Perfect Guard is executed at the right time, this will consume a portion of Pinnochio's stamina, and he will not get damaged at all.
Dying in Lies of P
Players are familiar with how frustrating boss fights can get in Souls-like games and Lies of P is not going to be any different. We have seen in the demo how boss attacks can deal a devastating amount of damage which often leads to death. Dying in Lies of P will cause Pinocchio to drop Ergo, or the in-game currency used to commit upgrades and purchase items. Just like in any other souls-like game, it is a task to retrieve the Ergo by going back to your Death location, even more so when it happens during a boss fight.
However, in Lies of P, they added a feature where your Death Ergo has a fixed location, right before the boss fight begins- allowing the players to focus on the big fight ahead of them. This is a quality-of-life upgrade that will allow players to keep all of their hard-earned Ergo and be able to progress their character as needed.
Specters in Lies of P
Before fighting a boss, you will have the opportunity to summon a Specter by using a Star Fragment at the Crack's Calling next to the boss arena. These Specters will help you fight the boss in combat and will disappear after you've vanquished the boss.

Lol, the person who chooses the recommended weapons must be a Bone-Cutting Saw fanboy. That weapon is actually a poor choice for most bosses.

Only few bosses left for me (just beat Black Rabbit posse for the second time), and I've mostly loved them. They've been quite fair in my experience, with the exception of some camera ****ery with Andreus and the usual gank fight frustration with the latter Rabbit gang showdown.
Jester puppet in the arcade basement should be in mini bosses I think?

For the last three major bosses, phase 1 was felt so easy and almost a joke compared to the following phase 2. Once you get a hang of them, you really start to appreciate their designs.

Gotta hand it to them, all boses, elites and some mini boses after scrapped watchman usually do not let down for a single moment, without knowing and exploiting their weaknesses most are Margit the fell omen in terms of difficulty and if not knowing specifics like deflecting Laxasia lighting back at her and such are Mohg level of menace....
And then we have a F****ing jesters.....

For stalkers mini boss fights just dodge around them and fish for back stabs.

Finally finished the last boss fight. This game literally feels to me that every boss fight throws more and more BS at you. Difficulty for the sake of difficulty.
I think the bosses in this game are great but my one holdup is two many bosses have 2 health bars. I understand the point is to create a surprise that the fight isn't over yet but when so many main bosses do this it stops being surprising which just defeats the whole purpose
