Weapons in Lies of P are offensive items equipped by Pinocchio in combat, it is the primary equipment used for damaging hostile characters such as Enemies and Bosses. In Lies of P, weapons are found as a single gear such as sabers, swords, knives, and even heavy, blunt weapons such as a hammer, each weapon you discover consists of a Blade and a Handle that can be dismantled and combined with other pieces to forge a unique weapon of your preference. The combining mechanic of a weapon can only be done when using or resting at a Stargazer. Players can freely swap their weapons as long as it is in Pinocchio's inventory. This page features all of the Weapons featured in Lies of P.
Lies of P All Weapons Guide
Lies of P Weapons Guide
In Lies of P, all weapons are divided into two components, the Blade and the Handle. As you explore the city of Krat, you will discover various Weapons which can then be dismantled and combined with other blades or handles. The weapon-making system in Lies of P enables customization of Pinocchio's primary weapon, mirroring the nature of Pinocchio himself as a puppet with customizable mechanical attributes. So how do Weapons exactly work in Lies of P? You will find different weapons, by default, which are already combined as a singular instrument.
How to Upgrade Weapons in Lies of P
You can upgrade weapon blades that can be dismantled or some Special Weapons that cannot be disassembled. Upgrading Weapon Blades in Lies of P will empower the blade's Attack Power. This feature becomes available when you reach Hotel Krat and upon speaking to Eugénie. Weapon Blades can be upgraded up to +10 and each level requires a certain amount of Ergo, Moonstones, and special materials for some blades.
With this, the possibility for weapon combinations is endless, this will affect the weapon's stats, attack behavior, and Fable Arts. Each weapon in Lies of P will include its Fable Art. Fable Art is similar to how Ashes of War works in Elden Ring, a weapon skill that is bound to a unique weapon. Fable Arts consists of unique moves or skills one when Pinocchio draws out his weapon or when upon guarding. The use of Fable Arts requires a certain number of Fable Slots which is the equivalent of an MP bar.
How to Equip Weapons in Lies of P
Players can swap between two equipped weapons from the Weapon slots Menu. Press Right on the D-Pad to switch between them.
Each Weapon has a distinct Blade and Handle with their own unique Fable Arts. Fable Arts can be considered the game's Weapon Skills. They use up Fable Slots, with each art using up varying amounts of slots. Players can recover Fable Slots by continuously attacking enemies with their Weapons.
How to Assemble Weapons in Lies of P
Weapon Assembly is a unique weapon feature in Lies of P, it allows players to disassemble a weapon to mix and match Blades and Handles. In the Bag Menu, players can view if a weapon can be disassembled at the "Weapons" or "Blade/Handle" tabs. To assemble a weapon, players must first acquire the Enigma Assembly Tool that drops after defeating the Mad Donkey. Once you have the item, you'll unlock the "Assemble Weapons" option when using a Stargazer.
Each part of a weapon defines different characteristics of it. The Blade affects the base damage and types of damage the weapon inflicts, the multiplier to slash and stab attacks, the size of the hitbox in each attack animation and most of the total weight of the weapon. The Handle defines the moveset of the weapon, which includes whether each attack animation is a slash or a stab, the scaling of the weapon, a multiplier to the stagger damage (faster movesets deal less stagger damage) and a little of the total weight of the weapon. The total weight of the weapon is important because it affects the animation speed of the attacks.

I really feel that the weapon table needs to have another column for the block % for each weapon since it's different for each one. That's a really important piece of information especially in a game without shields or 100% blocking.

at ng4 i have nothing better than booster glaive handle+puppet axe
one strong attack for simple enemies, good stagger chain for elites
it just annihilates

We'll be getting a new weapon soon. The Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive from Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Sounds cool.

This weapon combination system is pretty fun, but it has kinda similar issue like weapon arts in elden ring. If you for example want to play with some heavier, slower weapon, you are stuck with lame dark souls perseverance or parry or similar nonsense. If you want all the cool weapon arts and fancy movesets, you have to go for smaller handles.

hey all, if i got the golden lie, do i need to get it again in NG+ to get the special weapons collector achievement?
- Anonymous
Bramble Curved Sword should be C C scaling (it's correct in its article).
- Anonymous
For my NG+ playthrough I might do an Advance build and use the Electric Coil Stick against puppets, the Black Steel Cutter against Carcasses, and the Acidic Crystal Spear against humans.

Booster glaive handle with puppet axe blade, has been getting me through ever new game plus ive played, only change it out to the trident for the door giant boss fight

Wrench baton is one-hit damage king...baton handle fable 50% ATK boost + triple charged wrench fable with extreme modification amulet and whatever damage amulet type the enemy is (puppet/carcass/human), electric or fire grindstone depending on carcass/other and both ""Enhance weapon ATK when Durability is at maximum" unlocked can hit over 10k damage in one hit and gives super armor so it will tank anything and still land. Absolutely bonkers. Max out consumable possession and fable catalyst boost and you can hit with it, regain fable, and hit with it again and basically 2-3 shot any boss. Just two hit romeo on NG+

Put BLIND MAN'S DOUBLE-SIDED SPEAR blade on CITY LONG SPEAR handle and you recieve really apocalyptic looking fork with crazy range + crazy damage + u can use 2 fable art attacks and one attack boost with 5 fable slots. I mean it's really something.

Tyrant knife blade + pistol rock drill handle + assassins medallion. Because it's not enough to just cut or smash them to death. YOU NEED TO MOUNT THEM AND R2 POUND THEM UNTIL THEY LOVE YOU

Everyone is saying how good the Dancer Handle is, but I haven’t seen anything about The Dancer Blade. It and the Bramble Curved Sword Handle seem like such an amazing combo. Big damage, good range, fast move set, two power fables, C scaling in both Motivity and Technique. I honestly don’t see a reason as to why this wouldn’t be a great weapon.

I'm probably going to do a motivity build and use the Puppet's Saber until I can craft the Wrench Baton (Big Pipe Wrench Head + Krat Police Baton Handle). That will probably be my main for the rest of the game.

You know I almost wish, aside from a few weapons, that the game would give you blades and handles separate so as to encourage players to dive into recombining mechanic. Maybe there should even be blades and handles that don't match with anything specifically.

Can you add a sort on these columns? I want to sort by weight.

Currently there are no boss weapons that scale with advance, so I probably wouldn't recommend advance builds for new players because crafting your own more effective weapon is all but necessitated.
Even something like the acidic greatsword literally doesn't do acid dmg by default despite its great scaling and good moveset.
So hopefully you've managed to grasp the idea that huh I can stick the fire thing where the acid thing used to be, or the lightning thing where the fire used to be.
I think 90% of what makes Lies of P "hard" is new player unfriendlyness you don't even get Estus upgrades by default someone might try to get through the whole game with 5 cells, Goodluck with that.

i get that fire is for carcass and electric is for puppets but what the heck is acid good at? the one time i used it it didn't seem to break the weapon of the boss.

Bone cutting sawblade + dancer's curved sword handle is my favorite combo. Heavy attack is insane dmg and stagger with good speed and hitbox.

If anyone's doubting my weapon combination advice, I one tried the brotherhood both times, and I just took down Laxasia in 2 tries.
The reality is that there are very few instances that building your weapon to do more dmg, or have increased dps is wrong.
You guys can feel free to experiment and have fun, but it is an rpg so if you want to have an easy go of things try to follow my advice.

I'll give you guys some easy starter combinations for struggling players:
Elemental builds:
Poison spear handle + flaming dagger blade = flaming spear (faster, more efficient, better element)
Dex builds:
Jet blade + dancers handle = curved great sword (harder hitting, spinning slash combos, more efficient)
Quality builds:
Cursed knights handle + clock sword blade = golden spear of justice (faster, similar dmg, insane fable art)
Strength builds:
Police baton handle + rapier blade = london pig sticker (early game, great scaling, endgame viable)
Hope that helps you to understand that this system will multiply your effectiveness exponentially from default choices, or gimp you done poorly.

I want to provide some decent rules of thumb for weapon crafting cuz only like 10% of the player base is getting this:
1. Weapon weights can be broken down loosely into 5 pound increments (5 -> 10 -> 15 -> 20)
These loosely corespond to the weapon classes of souls games, dagger, sword, greatseord, UGS
2. Fable arts don't suffer from speed reductions so a 20 pound dagger that can use 6 fable bars for non stop swinging will do 6000 dmg is seconds
3. R2s maintain their special properties across blades wants to stick a rocket handle on your saw blade? Go for it you'll jet across the map with the biggest hit box
4. The reverse is also true stick a dagger blade on a spear handle and your hitbox will be the same but you'll attack twice as fast
5. So inconclusion weapon crafting is always more efficient when it present either more dmg, or increased dps through more spd
6. Any form of weapon crafting that doesn't accomplish the above two conditions is a bad combination plain and simple

Yeah on the subject of weapon assembly as far as I can tell it breaks down like this:
Handle:
1. Scaling letter C->A
2. Weapon type (daggers, rapiers, hammer etc.l
3. Animation considerations (charge r2s etc.)
So yes a spear handle with an ultra great sword Blade is still a spear, a rapier a rapier, a dagger a dagger
Blade Type:
1. Flat dmg
2. Scaling multiplier (big A vs small A)
3. Hit box size
4. Stamina consumption
5. Stance dmg

In the section "How to Assemble Weapons in Lies of P" I'd add the following paragraph:
> Each part of a weapon defines different characteristics of it. The Blade affects the base damage and types of damage the weapon inflicts, the multiplier to slash and stab attacks, the size of the hitbox in each attack animation and most of the total weight of the weapon. The Handle defines the moveset of the weapon, which includes whether each attack animation is a slash or a stab, the scaling of the weapon, a multiplier to the stagger damage (faster movesets deal less stagger damage) and a little of the total weight of the weapon. The total weight of the weapon is important because it affects the animation speed of the attacks.

only the handles determine your scaling? so if you're doing an advance build, you're just limited to the few handles that scale advance and can't use any of the ones with cool moves like the booster glaive? well this game could've been interesting, too bad

Hm, weird. We don´t get the greatsword/longsword the soliders in early game use ? It is even shown on Eugenie´s weapon collection at her stand, amidst many other obtainable weapons. I was kinda hoping to find the weapon location here. Is that seriously not obtainable in game or did the wiki just miss it ?

Missing the Carcass Crystal Axe Blade + Handle.
