So I'm seeing alot of people confused/struggling with the timing for this thing. What you need to remember is that It's just parry timing but for the fable attack, have your attack hit during the standard parry window. Many fable arts in the game seem to require you to essentially parry the enemy attack with the fable art. So while it can be a bit tricky for a time once you get the timing down thos weapon is genuinely insane. For even crazier numbers put the axe head onto the police baton handle for the damage boost fable it gives you. Prime the handle fable and then hit the truly unlucky recipient with the highest amount of damage you can achieve with one attack (seriously it's staggering; you can one shot some bosses) be sure to equip talismans that will maximise this effect!
