Guard Parry is a Fable Art (Weapon Skill) in Lies of P. Guard Parry is a Defense type weapon skill. Fable Arts are weapon skills bound to a weapon's handle or blade. These weapon skills consist of both offensive, defensive, and utility moves, each having distinct animations and effects when used.

• As of Patch 1.2.0.0, successfully performing this weapon skill will now break the monster's stance.

• Fable Arts can be found by looking at the Blade/Handle tab in the Weapons tab of the main menu. The Blade or Handle indicates the Fable Art it is associated with, the effects of the weapon skill, and the number of Fable Charges it consumes when it is used.
• Guard Parry has 5 frames of activity (@30fps), however, starting the guard input on the same frame of being hit by the enemies attack or 1 frame before the attack will not register a parry. This effectively gives you a 3 frame parry window.
