Effect | Perform the Stalker's Promise gesture. It is a salute used by both Bastards and Sweepers. |
Stalker's Promise is a Gesture in Lies of P. Performing the Stalker's Promise gesture shows players holding up their weapon in front of them. Gestures are "emotes" that will trigger the character to do poses or actions, gestures can also be used as an interaction to unlock some Secrets of the game. Gestures are normally set in the Quick Select Gesture Menu or can be triggered by selecting the desired gesture in the main Gesture Menu.
The reason one takes up one's sword is to honor one's vow to those whom one wishes to protect. No matter the banner one is fighting for, nothing changes this vow.

This game is filled with enemies that take attacks like they are nothing like this one. I smack him with the giant ass wrench and he just powers through it and keeps attacking. While my character gets staggered after every hit. Biggest bs in souls like games.

I found him and he said I was a puppet and he attacked me so I killed him. I found him after the Victor Boss Fight
Hound reacts to it, but no reward or dialogue. Just a for fun thing it seems.
