Survivor is a Boss in Lies of P. The Survivor is a mini-boss that is a part of the Stalkers. The Survivor wears a mouse mask indicating that he is a Rookie Stalker. Rookie Stalkers usually wear the animal masks decided by superiors. Wear the Blue Blood's Tailcoat outfit to trigger dialogue that suggests he is guilt-ridden for abandoning his friend, Leo, and laments breaking his vow. Eliminating regualar Bosses will usually cause them to drop rare Ergo. The Ergo you obtain by defeating a boss is extremely valuable. Players will eventually be able to use these to exchange them for special Weapons and Amulets. See Survivor (NPC) page for additional NPC information.

Survivor Fight Strategy
The Best Tips for Survivor:
- Recommended Weapons: Booster Glaive, Fulminis
- Recommended Items: Sawtoothed Wheel
- Recommended P-Organ upgrade: n/a
The Survivor wields a long Saber blade used for dealing a series of swift and quick melee attacks during Combat. The survivor is an agile opponent that has the ability to quickly move side to side and follow up with a combo of quick attacks with his blade. When you face the Survivor, you will meet him in a small room, so as you approach him, prepare to quickly move around the small space to avoid getting backed up in a corner. Approach aggressively while trying to circle around the Survivor. Make sure you are locked on so you continue to face him. You will be able to preemptively react to his attacks since he will draw his blade back before following through with the attack.
Make to allow his attacks to play out since he deals a number of melee combo attacks. Your windows of opportunity will be in between each melee attack and combo. Most of his attacks will consist of singular or a combo of regular melee ranged attacks or slightly stronger melee charged attacks. With good timing, you will be able to block these incoming attacks or parry them then follow up with an aggressive play. Just make sure you advance toward him and do not allow the Survivor to back you into the corner. When his HP bar is highlighted in white, deal a charged attack or play aggressively to stagger him. This will usually also open up the opportunity to deal a follow-up Fatal attack. This combat encounter will consist of a lot of repositioning and parrying, but as you learn his movements and anticipate his strikes, you should be able to often stagger him and deal a number of fatal blows until he is cleared.
Another strategy is to dodge his attacks to back stab him. Once you get the dodge timing right, you will be able to punish most of his combos with a critical back stab.
Survivor Attacks & Counters

Side Step; Melee Strike | The Survivor quickly repositions to the side to get a better strike angle then strikes his blade | Make sure to reposition yourself accordingly then block, parry or dodge the incoming attack. |
Charged sweep attack | This melee swing has a longer wind up to deal damage at a larger range, swinging his blade in a sweeping motion | Block thi action as he draws back in preparation for the sweep |
Backhand swing | The survivor makes a backhanded swing which can be followed up with a normal handed strike in a combo. | Parry or dodge this attack then quickly wait for the sequence to end before charging in. |
Survivor Lore, Notes & Other Trivia
- Voice Actor: ??
- Other Notes and Trivia Go Here
- Survivor's Hunting Apparel: The hunting apparel of the Survivor. It belonged to the one who forsook his oath. When puppets toppled the tower, the youth fled in feat. He lost his sworn brother and his name that day and became a survivor wandering in hell.
- Survivor's Mask: The mouse mask worn by the Survivor. It reeks of sewage and fear. Rookie Stalkers usually wear the animal masks decided by superiors. Perhaps this was even what had blessed the youths's fate.
Dialogue
Introduction:
- I must atone for my sins... Must kill more puppets... More, more...
- All puppets must die.. Every single one...
- If you wear the Blue Blood's Tailcoat: Wait. Those clothes... Leo? You came back...
- I killed countless puppets to atone for what I did.
- I didn't mean to break my vow. I was just so scared...
- I'm sorry I ran away. If you're a ghost, leave me be.
- Its the weight of guilt. The burden never gets lighter.
During Fight:
- I can't tell what's blood and what's oil...
- I wish I hadn't run away then...
After Fight:
- I'm sorry, Leo... I was afraid to die...

The survivor doesn't have any unique interactions if you come to him as Carlo which is pretty lame.

This is the best enemy for parry practice, he doesnt deal much damage, does the same very easy to read attack and spams his attacks constantly, you can just moonwalk around him and spam your guard button until you get a hang of it

Something I discovered, also the way I killed him. If you lure any puppet down the hole by going halfway down the ladder with puppets following you, Survivor will attack them. He says "All puppets must die.. Every single one..." after all.
So knowing this I lured one of the steampunk puppets down there, and they killed each other. This is semi difficult as the puppet doesn't follow you past a certain point normally, you have to use their attacks to have it follow you further.
The survivor will kill the steampunk puppet first but the puppet should have caused Survivor to be affected by the overheat depuff by then, causing him to burn to death.

Bad directions on this page about where to find him...if you start from the Venigni Control Works stargazer, go back in the direction of where the fox and cat are...in between there is a side door on your left to a room where some puppets are hanging from the ceiling. Past these puppets in a corner of a room is a ladder down which is a little bit hard to see...go down the ladder and that is where the Survivor is.

The directions to find him are incorrect and misleading. To find the survivor, start at the Venigni Works Control Room stargazer, and head back to where you met the fox and cat. In between there is a door on the left to a small room where some puppets are hanging from the ceiling, and they will drop down and attack you. In the corner of that room there is a ladder down which is easy to miss, go down the ladder and that is where the Survivor is. After you beat him the door in his room opens, and that leads to the flaming boulder tunnel.

Strafe him until you can get a backstab. Try to break his weapon at the beginning of his combo. Fast weapons are easier

If your having a rough time running a technique build with this guy, try the booster glaive and fish for back stabs. The guy ****ing infinicombos so dont even bother trying to block. Just dodge out of the way and attack when he is attacking the wrong direction

During my duel, Survivor also said, "I wish I had known... Surviving is a Hell of it's own..."

He says he can hear your springs before attacking you. When you gain humanity, the game says your springs loosen. I wonder if you gain a certain amount of humanity before talking to him, something different happens.
its insanely aggressive so just deflect as many as you can then it easily staggers ggs
This guy feels like he came straight from Darksouls 3 PVP with his R1 Spamming
