Black Cat's Amulet is an Amulet in Lies of P. The Black Cat's Amulet provides an effect that lessens the damage of falling off from high ground. Amulets usually provide basic raw stat increase to overall attack, defense, and elemental resistance. Amulets in Lies of P are found as loot, drops, or purchased from merchants.
An amulet that can be equipped on a puppet. Information and memories that are useful for movement can be imprinted on the symbol to draw out special powers.
Falling offers an equal death to all. However, with the cat's luck, one is able to scoff at death.
Where to Find Black Cat's Amulet in Lies of P
- Can be found in a tall chest inside the Trinity Sanctum within the St. Frangelico Cathedral. You'll need a Trinity Key to enter.
- The Trinity Key can be obtained by correctly answering the riddle at Malum District.
- Find the ringing Telephone booth in one of the empty buildings in Malum District then the riddle goes: "I stand tall and proud when I'm young and bold. But I'm short and humble once I've gotten old. What am I?" Then, choose the answer: candle. Please see Trinity Sanctums for more in-depth info.
From the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel Stargazer, head to the next large room and go down the stairs to head down the large gap on the floor. Follow the path to the large room with rotating gears. Head for the ladder on the other side of the room, climb up, and then use the thin beams and wooden planks to head to the other side again to climb yet another ladder. Up here make a U-turn to the left and carefully cross the thin beam to another wooden platform.
Follow the short path and then climb down the ladder. Follow the halls until you reach a narrow steep corridor where electric boulders will periodically fall through. Carefully make your way up, and then climb the ladder to your right. Carefully make your way through another narrow corridor with rolling electric boulders while hugging the left wall to find the green door to the Trinity Sanctum. Once inside the room, you will find 3 chairs facing each other, with a book in the middle. Find the safe on one side of the wall and break the lock. You will find both the Black Cat's Amulet and the Monster Sweeper's Hunting Apparel inside.

AnonymousHonestly pretty worthless Amulet, it's not full Negation (seems around 30/50% negation roughly) and many places you aren't in danger of fall damage and the places you are will most likely be certain death falls with or without the Amulet regardless.. Bit of a let down but it's just for convienience anyway...

Amulet seems to halve fall damage. I did some "research", there are places with clear scripted death like hole in St. Frangelico Cathedral. But aside from that with 30 vitality and amulet I was able to survive most falls I expected to be lethal. Some examples: tunnel after boss in Venigni Works, roofs in Elysion Boulevard. I died while jumping from the top of "wooden contraption with cogs" in St. Frangelico Cathedral, but survived fall from next highest point in this room that I found (hut/wooden tunnel). So with 30 vitality, light load (it matters), Life Amulet and Black Cat's Amulet I was left with 158 of 632 HP. I think its possible that maybe aside from few scripted deaths all other falls may be matter of enough HP to survive damage.
