Black Cat is an NPC in Lies of P. Black Cat is the little brother of Red Fox who has a more friendly nature than Red Fox. NPCs are non-playable characters that players encounter and can interact with throughout the course of the game. NPCs play an important role since they often provide helpful information, resources, and services that will help the player throughout their journey.

Where to Find Black Cat in Lies of P

• You can find Red Fox and Black Cat near the Workshop Union Culvert Stargazer. After getting through the rolling fire ball traps, take a right through a broken wall and go outside the door straight ahead. Red Fox and Black Cat are standing in a far distance.
• Next time both Red Fox and Black Cat appear at Malum Destrict Stargazer. They offer to team up with you to defeat the Black Rabbid Brotherhood. However they don't help for long when Black Cat says he would need to take a break.
• You meet them both again after defeating Champion Victor at the Grand Exhibition Conference Room. They ask for a gold coin fruit to cure the blindness of Black Cat.
• Once you progress to the final chapter of the game in Arche Abbey, Black Cat can be fought as a boss at the Arche Abbey Outer Wall. But you don't need to fight (at least if you have been friendly before), he can be bought as a friend for another gold coin fruit.

Lies of P Black Cat Information

• Black Cat's name is unknown. According to the Sweepers Branch Office Newspaper, he is the brother of Red Fox and is believed to be the bastard son of the Volfe family. He became a member of the Sweepers at some point prior to the Puppet Frenzy as an apprentice stalker, but has been reported multiple times for ignoring ranks and neglecting duty. He and his sister had been in contact for a year prior to the Office Newspaper's writing. It appears that he was going to be interrogated as a potential spy from the Bastards before the Puppet Frenzy. It is unknown if this interrogation was done or if this was a valid line of questioning.
• In the third encounter at the Grand Exhibition, Black Cat is stated to be ill with the Petrification disease, with the disease focusing on his eyes.  He also notes in the Malum District that he needs to take a breather and that fighting exhausts him.
• Sells lore upon first meeting.
• Make sure you have Gold Coin Fruit upon the third and fourth encounter if  you want to become friends.
