Alidoro is a Merchant in Lies of P. Alidoro is a merchant whom you have a choice of lying to if you don't want him to return with you to Hotel Krat, he is a unique merchant who trades unique Ergo for Special Weapons. Interacting with merchants helps the player gain Items by trading or requesting certain services for character or equipment progression. The merchants in Lies of P are found stationed in various spots of the many locations featured in the game.

Where to Find Alidoro in Lies of P

• This merchant can be first found in St. Frangelico Cathedral Library. From the Stargazer, find your way to the upper floors and to the other side of the gate. Keep following the path, where some carcass Enemies await, to the next chamber, where you'll find an elevator to an open area up high in the cathedral where you'll find Alidoro.  When you initially meet Alidoro, he will ask you if you know of a place where he can go to take refuge. If you lie to him, you'll find him in the areas you mentioned, but if you tell him about Hotel Krat, you'll find him there on the ground floor, the west wing of the hotel. Speak to him to learn more about how to obtain Special Weapons (Boss Weapons)
• If you tell him to go to Hotel Krat or lie (the initial lie option is telling him to go to Venigni Works), Alidoro will only appear at the hotel or at Venigni Works AFTER you defeat the Fallen Archbishop Andreus.

Lies of P Where to Find Alidoro in Venigni Works

• If you choose the option Venigni Works, as mentioned, you'll find him around the area of the Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer after defeating Fallen Archbishop Andreus.
• When meeting Alidoro for the first time and telling him to go to Venigni Works, speak to him again on the balcony and you can access his shop inventory to view the few Special Weapons that are in stock. If you want to check it go right ahead, but we recommend trading in any rare Ergo that you currently have later on.
• Finding Alidoro in Venigni Works. Fast-travel to the Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer, head up the stairs that are on the right, and go inside the room that's on the left at the top of the stairs. You'll immediately find him because you'll hear his voice. When you talk to him, he'll give you another chance to redeem yourself by asking you which place to go to take refuge. This time, you'll be given the choices Elysion Boulevard (Lie), Hotel Krat (Truth). Regardless, if you lie again and answer "Elysion Boulevard", he'll still end up at Hotel Krat. You can click on the images below to enlarge them.

 

 

Lies of P Where to Find Alidoro in the Barren Swamp

• Upon defeating Champion Victor, you'll notice that Alidoro won't be at Hotel Krat. Don't worry he wasn't killed or anything, he just moved to a different location. Progress the game until you reach the Barren Swamp area (Stargazer: Barren Swamp Entrance), the area here is pretty linear, so just continue through the first section of the swamp until you come across a lever that controls a minecart.
• Activate the minecart and this will destroy a wooden barricade that opens up a shortcut that leads back to the Barren Swamp Entrance Stargazer. You can click on the image below to enlarge it.

 

 

Lies of P Where to Find Alidoro in the Relic of Trismegistus

NOTE: This section contains some minor spoiler details.

• For this part, Alidoro won't be at Hotel Krat after it is attacked (Eugenie mentions this when you talk to her at her station after discovering that the hotel was attacked for the first time) and you'll find him past the Relic of Trismegistus Combat Field Stargazer at the Relic of Trismegistus area. In order to find him, you need to defeat the Black Rabbit Brotherhood for the second time. You won't miss him, since the path is linear and you'll find him next to a bonfire.
• IMPORTANT: When you talk to him, you'll have three options, Purchase, Talk, and Attack Alidoro. We highly recommend that you "Talk" to him first to learn about his identity and confession. You now get to decide his fate. If you select "Purchase", you can check his wares to trade in Special Weapons or Amulets that you want, and if you spare his life, he'll stick around as your designated special weapons merchant. On the other hand, if you choose "Attack Alidoro", you'll be prompted another choice to attack him or not. If you choose to attack again, he becomes targetable, instantly killing him with just one hit.
• WARNING: Killing him will lock you out of viewing his wares if you want to buy exclusive Special Weapons or Amulets. However, doing this is a requirement if you want to obtain Alidoro's Cryptic Vessel, which you need to give to Venigni for it to be deciphered. Next, read the decryption to the end and speak to Eugenie, you should have 2 dialogue options. If you choose "I think he was just a talented Stalker" you will acquire the Far East Princess record. If you choose "He Was Eugenie's Older Brother" you will acquire the Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 record and the Trophy/Achievement "The Story of a Stranger Girl".
• NOTE: Collecting and listening to all (for some who have experienced, 5 or more) of the Records is one of the requirements if you want to achieve the True Ending and it is one of the conditions if you want to obtain the Secret Weapon. So if it's your first playthrough, we recommend sparing Alidoro's life and killing him off in succeeding NG+ cycles if your next goal is to collect all of the records.
• TIP: If you do decide to kill Alidoro, there is an alternative Special Weapons Merchant who goes by the name of "Rookie Explorer Hugo" whom shows up in the same corner of Hotel Krat.
