Full Moonstone of the Covenant is a Material in Lies of P. Using the Full Moonstone of the Covenant allows players to make a large upgrade for their special weapons. Materials are divided into 2 categories that are used to enhance or upgrade different parts of the players' Weapons, and other Materials players may acquire. Players can keep track of their Materials in their inventory menu.
An extremely rare enhancement material that can be obtained in different parts of Krat.
It can upgrade the blades of special weapons.
The blind butterfly desperately sought a savior, clutching a Moonstone.
It was as if it wanted this world at least to survive.
Where to Find Full Moonstone of the Covenant in Lies of P
Full Moonstone of the Covenant can be found in:
- Can be looted from a Dimensional Butterfly found at the bonfire near the Relic of Trismegistus Entrance Stargazer.
- Can be looted from a Dimensional Butterfly found near the Arche Abbey Outer Wall Stargazer.
- Can be looted from a Dimensional Butterfly found in the Arche Abbey. Locate the room with a red round carpet, and then proceed to the archway leading to an open space. The butterfly will spawn next to the fire pit on the left side of the stairs.
- Can be looted near wooden planks at the Arche Abbey on the upper levels of the tower.
- Can be looted on a metal platform found in the Ascension Bridge. While facing Sophia's room, proceed to the left path that will take you to the reading room, and go up the spiral stairs. Continue to the end of the main path until you see the item to your right.
- (NG+ only) Trinity Sanctum in Krat Central Station Lobby. The sanctum gives an additional reward once you open the safe during NG+.

Silly design. The previous material tier should be able to update the weapon to lvl 4 and then maybe have 5 or 6 of these so you can fully upgrade a weapon with just one.

Poledina sold 3 stones in my playthrough. I had 8 stones in total.

I def got 8 in my first playthrough in NG because I have 2 +5s and 1 +4. I have one stone left. I’ve been searching to confirm there are 9 in one run but to no avail! So maybe I’ll just have 2 +5s and two +4s

Uh, why does this page say there are 7 available in NG and 8 in NG+. It's only 6 and then 7 right? 3 from butterflies, 1 from supply crates to polenda, and 2 on the ground in upper abbey, and then in NG+ one in the final trinity room. This has 3 listed in upper abbey at the moment and some of their descriptions are super vague.

I am real sick of soulslike devs not putting in ways of farming top-tier upgrade materials. It's a bad trend that needs to stop. Like my ONLY complaint about this game.
Devs should've let us reset weapon upgrades or made enemies in a location just before final boss drop full moonstones. I want to use nameless puppet's weapon for ng+ but i have to wait till almost end of the game to fully upgrade it.
So update on ng+ the trinity keys give 1 extra full coveneant moonstone and full normal moonstone, so there are 7 on ng+ at least

There's only 6 in the game, enough to max 2 boss weapons (1 for +4, 2 for +5). Choose wisely.
Unless I somehow missed something no guide found, this game has the crappy thing of throwing like 8 normal max upgrade mats at you but only enough for 2, yes 2, boss weapons. I haven't found more than 6 of these and that means that you can't upgrade any boss unless you're sure you wanna max it. I got the katana and wheel to +4 then didn't have enough to upgrade proof of humanity and now it's stuck being +3 until late ng+ so basically worthless. Why do this to players?
There are absolutely no excuses for restraining and gatekeeping players from upgrading their weapons at will in NG cycle. Vestigial bad game design.
No amount of frustration is needed to appreciate the work and enjoy a collection of weapons before switching NG+. It appeals to sick people honestly.
