What are Key Items in Lies of P

Key items are critical objects in Lies of P that help players progress through the story such as unlocking gates or doors to areas they will need to be in. However, there are some keys such as the Trinity Key that bring players to a room with a locked book in a display case in the middle of 3 chairs.

Keys Items can be obtained by looting defeated enemies, or bosses, and they can also be given to players from NPCs upon completing or starting a quest.

What are Records in Lies of P

Records are musical items that players can collect and play on the gramophone at the Hotel Krat. Each Record has its own genre and its own individual playtime. Listening to the Records at the Hotel will help players obtain humanity.

Records can be obtained by completing quests, gaining them as rewards from NPCs, or purchasing them from different merchants.

What are Letters in Lies of P

Letters are items players can collect to gain more in-depth information about the different stories of the game or the different NPCs in the game as well. 

Letters can be obtained by exploring the different areas of Krat, as well as given to players by NPCs.

What are Newspapers in Lies of P

Newspapers contain articles on news reading that players can read to gain more information and knowledge on the lore of the game. 

Newspapers can be obtained through normal exploration around Krat.

What are Cryptic Vessels in Lies of P

Decryptions in Lies of P are postcards that contain information on items that are hidden in a specific place. The picture on the postcard will have doodles on them which tells players where they will need to go, and the description of the postcard will give players relevant information and hints on getting the items.

Players can obtain Decryption by exploring the ins and outs of Krat.

What are Recollections in Lis of P

Recollections are items that help players progress through various quests, these pieces of items may hold relevance to the storyline and are tied to specific quests, NPCs, or locations, while some items can be kept by players if they choose to.

Recollections can be obtained through progressing in the game, by speaking to various NPCs, and sometimes can be looted from defeated enemies or bosses.

What are Pictures in Lies of P

Pictures in Lies of P are purely for collecting purposes, but some pictures in the game hold information such as foreshadowing an upcoming boss fight or a location nearby.

Pictures can be obtained by exploring the highs and lows of Krat.

What are Books in Lies of P

Books in Lies of P are items players can obtain to read and gain information on about the different NPCs or locations in the game. Similar to newspapers however it gets more in-depth with the characters players will come across in their gameplay.

Books can be obtained through progressing through the game, my purchasing from Merchants or NPCs will give them to players as a reward.

What are Notes in Lies of P

Notes in Lies of P are items that more often times will show emotions or thoughts of characters who are not in the game and show their worry about the Petrification Disease, their families, and more personal thoughts. Other times, some notes will display odd messages that could be hard to understand on their own.

Notes can be obtained through regular story progression in the game such as exploring around different areas.
