Eugénie is a NPC in Lies of P. Eugénie is an outsider from a distant country to the East of Krat. She is also an expert of weaponry. Interacting with merchants helps the player gain Items by trading or requesting certain services for character or equipment progression. The merchants in Lies of P are found stationed in various spots of the many locations featured in the game.

The following Quests that are listed below are related to the NPC Eugénie in Lies of P:
- Players will need to speak with Eugénie after having Venigni decipher Alidoro's Cryptic Vessel.
- Lie to her by choosing the option "I think he was just a talented Stalker" and players will be able to obtain the Far East Princess Record.
- On New Game +, tell her the truth by choosing the option "He was Eugénie's older brother." players will be able to obtain the Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 Record, reload to the stargazer and players will also obtain the trophy "The Story of the Stranger Girl" when speaking to Eugénie again.

How to Unlock the "The Story Of A Stranger Girl" Trophy in Lies of P
- Talk to Alidoro at Relic of Trismegistus Combat Field and select the option "Attack Alidoro" twice to kill him. Pick up the item called "Alidoro's Cryptic Vessel" and bring it to Venigni so that he can decode it.
- Lastly, talk to Eugénie in Hotel Krat and select the option "He was Eugénie's Older Brother".
- Talk to her at a later time to obtain the trophy.

Worth mentioning that if you aren't human enough before you defeat the black brotherhood for the second time, then you won't be given an option to kill Alidoro.

If you don't attack him the first time and come back later you can't attack him again. Stupid if you ask me. Makes it harder to get platinum. Hopefully, they fix it.

Just a side note for those going for this trophy.
Don’t do what I did and make sure you give Alidoro the wanted poster otherwise you can’t choose the option to attack him.
Also decrypt the message before telling her about her brother and then use the stargazer to get the trophy/achievement to pop.

If you talk to her before you decode the message, you will not get the "was her brother" prompt and you are locked out till next playthrough...
Cute, would romance. Not as hot as Andre but we take what we can get
I felt weird about lying to her about her Alidoro being her brother, thematically the lies were always on the side of compassion. This one just felt like covering something up that could only lead to more pain. Had to wonder why my character would do it. Was it because her 'real name' was illegible on the note? I also wondered if it was written in the same script as the rest of the note, as it said earlier in the game that she is from a land beyond the sea.
