Exploding Pickaxe is a Weapon in Lies of P. Exploding Pickaxe is a weapon set that consists of the following parts, Exploding Pickaxe Blade and Exploding Pickaxe Handle. In Lies of P, weapons are found as a single gear such as sabers, swords, knives, and even heavy, blunt weapons, each weapon you discover consists of a Blade and a Handle that can be dismantled and combined with other pieces to forge a unique weapon of your preference.
Where to Find Exploding Pickaxe in Lies of P
- Can be found in a safe. Upon entering the Estella Opera House from the Stargazer outside, head up the set of stairs to the left and then find the opening to the left to a long red-carpeted hall. Follow the path to find a staircase to the right leading down to another red carpet corridor, which is guarded by a large puppet Enemy. In the room at the end of the corridor, there is a safe containing the Exploding Pickaxe.

If you hold the blade fable art button (Flamestrike) instead of just pressing it, it will have an INSANE reach. Enter the training area and try it just as P draws the weapon and you'll see what I mean.

Exploding Pickaxe's Handle + Live Puppet's Axe's Blade = fastest version of Live Puppet's Axe. It literally destroys enemies and it even staggers surprisingly easy. I'm on NG+4 and it oneshots every normal enemy. Combined with Puppet String can deal tons of damage to big enemies like the white giants in Lorenzini Arcade. I wish I discovered this custom weapon early because the damage almost feels like cheating.

The handle is amazing for motivity blades. You get a vertical slash so you will never dink into walls again, and you can quickly combo uncharged heavy attacks for great damage and a quick stagger.
