Pistol Rock Drill Blade

A rock drill blade made by Venigni Company. The tip is coated with an alloy that makes destroying even rock easy. Ergo mining has been the central interest of Krat's technicians for decades. No matter how much they mined with their various tools, the ore never ran dry.

Pistol Rock Drill Handle

A rock drill handle made by Venigni Company. When the trigger is pulled, the pistol joint vibrates the blade and increases its destructive power. The workers who suffered pain from the rock drill's strong recoil complained. In the end, this led to the Ergo mine worksite being occupied by miner puppets.

Anyone else feel like the “pistol”part of the name is a typo? Given how it functions I reckon it was actually meant to read “piston”.

This weapon design lacking a bit balance. It's moveset is almost impossible to fight human boss other than going full backstab which moveset doesn't matter

It's impossible to hit them with charge attack to stagger
Can't even trade since it can't poise through either

Have yet to actually try this out in battle, but I put the Salamander Blade on it's handle and wonder how fast overheat procs.

This and the pipe wrench is all I needed for my strength build. It’s a shame you don’t get this earlier though

I didn't really get to appreciate this for too long because of how late into the game I got it, but when I do start NG+ I am probably still going to be using this thing. It works with basically everything. The jackhammer charge attack is really solid provided you use it appropriately. Currently mine is using the shovel as its blade, and I like that it gives me a good 360 attack with the fable art plus, a pile bunking shovel is a vibe I am all about.

So if you are curious, most of the amulets work with it very well. The hand of god amulet will absolutely proc up to it's max potency just off the jack hammer attack. The trick is figuring out how to pull it off. What I like to do is bait the enemy towards a wall that I primed with deus ex machina mines. One mine is enough for this, but if you stack them you are going to get a huge damage pop from them all triggering, but the best part is that it will stagger. When they stagger, trigger your jackhammer, which will get a lot of free hits in (max out your damage with hand of god), then will almost assuredly get them to white bar where all you have to do is let go of the jack hammer and it will trigger the crumple. It's a very satisfying combo.

But trying to jackhammer to an unstaggered heavy enemy/boss is just asking for a bad time. Just use the uncharged R2 for some good double hit opportunities and spacing.

strongest part of the kit is the double hit dash attack (not back dash, only side and forward). it does full damage per hit, is fast with quick recovery but eats stamina. the dps combined with the crit bonus of the weapon head (which means hits randomly deal more damage) lets it have some crazy high damage output compared to other motivity weapons, that said you can put any thrusting proficient head on this for some good times.

a hard to use weapon if you keep holding the charge attack, while drilling is fine damage, its stopping power and animation lock is kind of bad. Let go of the charge and unleash a finisher( the real charge attack that can stance break), and it actually has some fine stagger and quick r1/ r2 thrusts. Unfortunately Im always tempted to spam the drill move and trade hits. Its too satisfying.... I ended up removing the drill head and giving it to another handle, since it has crit.

The handle is pure meme material. put the live puppet axe blade on it and deal some crazy damage by holding the charged attack button OOOR Put the police baton head on it for what i call "the onlyfans starter pack"
