Frozen Feast is a Special Weapon (Boss Weapon) in Lies of P. Frozen Feast is a greatsword weapon that cannot be disassembled, it can be obtained by giving the Reborn Champion's Ergo to Alidoro. Boss Weapons or Special Weapons are weapons derived from the unique Bosses encountered in Lies of P. These are acquired by providing boss-type Ergo items to a special merchant, Alidoro.

An Ergo crystal sword blade made by an Alchemist. The untreated blade chips away with each impact, but when it stabilizes, it restores itself as if it can turn back time.

The crystal that kept falling off the sword no matter how much the Alchemists worked at it was miraculously restored. It was as if it had been biding its time.

Banged my head with this against the final boss for 15 attempts straight, couldn't even get it 75% through. Switched it for seven coiled and beat him 3rd try, almost first

The problem with this sword isn't that its slow, rather thay it has no fast attack at all. If you are going to do a light attack without breaking it, might as well commit to full charge heavy. No seriously, seven coiled's long *** heavy is probably faster than this weapon's "light". And its no different with dash attack or fable art

High stagger damage and damage in general. Only downside is that it's extremely slow, which makes it completely unviable for late game bosses as they're all on crack and move at the speed of light.

This thing has such immense damage that it can cover every single problem with it. The funny thing is - that I didn't even have to learn the various striking times as many here suggest, I just use a strong attack every time the enemy has an opening and it compensate for every time I'm not hitting with the fast attacks. It staggers as hell and disbalancing enemies almost every strong attack which allows to proceed with another attacks to deplete stamina. Tank build with this weapon through the new game and the only place where I had problems was the second form of Laxasia, since it's just too ****ing hard to get an opening on her. I even tried to use a faster weapon but it didn't work so I came back to FF and finally managed to overcome her exactly with it. The next bosses after her felt like a fkn breeze. Esp Simon, fkn joke, took me only one death.
In conclusion - if you're going tank build you won't find anything better than this. At least I didn't.

I guess it's kind of cool, but having used all the boss weapons, this one is probably my least favorite. It's too slow.

I wish the guide told me this weapon is required for one of the cryptic vessels Immediately after I defeated Victor.

When I got Reborn Champion's Ergo I used it to gain Ergo Currency...

Legitimately don't get the point of this one. Even at max stacks, it's just too damn slow to be practical in a game without generous superarmor.

An interesting note about this weapon is that it doesn’t seem to bounce off walls, ever. A very good weapon for close quarters!

This thing is worth the effort to learn. Yeah it's slow, but it's worth it, the damage and stagger power is insane with a 40 motivity investment. The real beauty of this baby is the 70.0 Damage Reduction on guard. This is so stupidly high you can basically normal guard most attacks and lose almost no health at all.

Question remains: Does "Increase Fable Arts Effect Duration 1 & 2" effect how long the stacks last? or is it not classed as an effect-based Fable art?

                      • Anonymous

One of the better motivity weapons; good reach, good stagger, good guard, good versatile moveset, fantastic damage, and the 2nd fable art has super armor and comes out relatively fast. Only real learning curve is the variable swing speed, but once you get past that you've got a weapon that easily see you through the end of the game, potentially mulltiple playthroughs.

For those of you reading this and are curious how it exactly functions: the weapon by defaullt is covered in rocks and swings extra slow compared to other greatswords in its weight class type, but once you land hits (up to x4 hits) the swing speed gets faster and faster as the rocks chip off and the sword itself becomes more exposed. When it has the x4 swing speed buff it starts swinging faster than other similar weight greatswords.

Afaik nothing else gets affected; the sword doesn't become lighter (for equip load purposes) when the rocks chip off, nor does retaining the rocks seemingly boost stagger, nor is the reach or damage affected in any way.

The 'buff' lasts only a couple seconds, but the 1st fable art basically allows you to instantly release the weapon to its x4 swing speed, so its up to you to decide whether you need/want the max swing speed in a pinch at the cost of your fable slot.

It's a good weapon and thematically very fitting with gigachad Victor, who hits as hard as this greatsword does but gets unexpectedly faster/more nimble as the fight drags longer.

One of the best motivity weapon. It has everything : good movesest, good range, big damage and a deadly fable.
You might think it's bad the first time you use it since the first swing is super slow, but do not be fooled : the stacking mechanic is not tied to the handle's fable, it is always up. Once stacked, it becomes one of the quickest heavy weapon. And it is really easy to get max stacks and keep it the whole fight.

You should get this even if you dont plan on using it, its part of a side quest later, and you are locked out if you dont have it.

I wanted to like this thing but I feel like I'm waiting for something to ship from overseas each time I take a swing with it. If I wanted to dump a bar of Fable just to get a competent swing speed, I'd stick with the Holy Sword of the Ark because at least then I'm using a holy glaive I made from a tapeworm's soul.

Wow, so I'm permanently locked out from getting not only one of the coolest costumes in the game, but also a Quartz just because I chose the amulet instead of this sword?
I can live with not getting the costume, but losing a Quartz too is beyond stupid, considering how rare and important they are. Permanently missing one in the late game because of a seemingly unimportant gear choice in the first few hours is just ridiculous...

I had Alidoro in Hotel pre-Victor, but now he's gone after I have the ergo. Where does he go? Or did someone kill him??
