Salamander Dagger is a Weapon in Lies of P. Salamander Dagger is a weapon set that consists of the following parts, Salamander Dagger Blade and Salamander Dagger Handle. In Lies of P, weapons are found as a single gear such as sabers, swords, knives, and even heavy, blunt weapons, each weapon you discover consists of a Blade and a Handle that can be dismantled and combined with other pieces to forge a unique weapon of your preference.
Where to Find Salamander Dagger in Lies of P
- Salamander Dagger is found in the Workshop Union Entrance area. Go up the stairs from the stargazer, and go into the room to your left. Inside is a trapdoor, which you can drop down to fight two puppet Enemies and loot the weapon from a safe.

Salamander Dagger Blade
A dagger blade designed to make Ergo generate Overheat. An Ergo power source that emits heat is embedded in the back of the sword.
The salamander symbolizes fire and purification. In that regard, the dagger was created for a special purification ritual regarding Alchemist defectors.
Salamander Dagger Handle
A dagger handle made by the Alchemists. It was made in the shape of a snake biting its tail.
Following the same principle as the dagger, there are some Alchemists who can expel great heat from an Ergo heart. These baptists who possessed fire abilities called themselves Simon's Fire, the Purifiers of Truth.

just noticed that if you put dancer sword on this handle it looks like some middle east/scimitar type and moveset!

The moveset for this weapon is incredibly well balanced and its R2 is comparable to the speed of most weapons R1s. Pairs incredibly well with GS of fate blade.

This blade is incredible. I can't think of a better blade to use against carcasses. The weapon handle is nice, too, though I prefer to use the Acidic Crystal Spear Handle for the extra range. If you're having trouble against any carcass boss or elite, this blade at +3 will do better than a +6 or +7 without fire element.

This weapons move set is the best in the game. Fast and decent damage. The fully charged power attack being so fast is huge for breaking posture

I'm not very far yet, but sticking this on the acid spear handle changed the game for me

In my first runs I did a motivity build, so I ignored this completely. I just started a completely new run now, figuring I'd try dex, but I really didn't like how little damage the wintry rapier does, and how slow it was with the greatsword blade. Enter this: I stuck the greatsword of fate blade on this handle and had a rather potent, rather fast weapon with lovely poking RBs and a really sweet and quick RT. I'm even kind of digging the retreating stab.
The handle's probably going to get replaced soon, but I'm having an unexpected amount of fun from this combo going through venigni works.
