Holy Sword of the Ark is a Special Weapon (Boss Weapon) in Lies of P. Holy Sword of the Ark is a greatsword weapon that cannot be disassembled, it can be obtained by giving the King's Flame Ergo to Alidoro. Boss Weapons or Special Weapons are weapons derived from the unique Bosses encountered in Lies of P. These are acquired by providing boss-type Ergo items to a special merchant, Alidoro.
A special greatsword that was lying asleep in the St. Frangelico Cathedral.
It can transform between a special greatsword and a glaive.
The Ark Saintess's weapon was reproduced for puppet use and it made a grand appearance at Krat events. However, its legendary holiness could not be reproduced.

- Not listed on the weapon, when transformed patient smash is replaced with a combo slash that get 5 hits when using 3 Fable bars.
Lies of P Holy Sword of the Ark Upgrade Information
Upgrading Special Weapons in Lies of P will upgrade the Weapon's Attack Power. This feature becomes available when you reach Hotel Krat and upon speaking to Eugénie. Special Weapons can be upgraded up to +5 and each level requires a certain amount of Ergo and Moonstones of the Covenant.

AnonymousThe only thing I don't like about this sword is how much space you need to your right side to use the R2 poke in the extended form. For a stab it needs a lot of space and before you get used to it you will find yourself clanking off a lot of walls.

I am 100% sure that this weapon is the best in entire game. You have insane reach, damage, guard and most important - very long strong poking atack. It have wide slashes and long poking - like zwei in Elden or DS, but better

It's a great sword taped to a stick. And it's yours at the small price of 1 boss soul! Have you ever fought an enemy and the darn thing is just out of reach? Where you can't possibly reach without an extention of some kind. Have no fear buy the great sword taped to a stick today.

Glaive Mode on this thing is where the magic happens. Light attacks for swipes with good reach, heavy attacks are moderately quick stabs with good reach and surprisingly good posture busting. And the change to the fable art is nice too. If you're doing a motivity run and want to poke your nose into the 'heavy' tier, this is a good set of training wheels until you get to the Frozen Feast or the Live Puppet Axe.

A lot of people with strength builds use pipe wrench with police baton, for the strike chance and patient smash combo dealing massive damage. The main problem with that weapon is its short reach. But with this weapon, when you transform from its long form back into its greatsword form, it gives you a hidden strike chance effect that isn’t in the weapon description. You can then do patient smash just like the wrench, and do roughly the same damage. Yet this weapon has so much more reach, and a more versatile moveset. The only downside is the upgrade path being worse in NG

A bit slow for dealing with bread&butter enemies. But the elongated form has great range to use against harder enemies.

Cleared the game with this. Full Motivity build, 99% of the time using the alternate, extended form. The uncharged heavy is insanely good, it has reach and is relative fast for being a heavy. The weapon also staggers bosses/enemies quite well, does great damage, has straight, narrow attacks for tight corridors and wide, cone shaped attacks to deal with multiple enemies. You can deal with pretty much every scenario with the alt-stance. I doubt there is a better Motivity weapon in the game AND you get this weapon early.

Switching from spear to sword form and landing a fully charged fable art does like >3000 dmg.
This thing is beyond broken and it's the cooling looking in the game.

I don't know if I should get the holy sword or the conquering amulet. The amulet seems very good...
If you're a strength aka motility build HIGHLY reccomend using this. It can be infused to get A scaling, has just a bit less Attsck value than big wrench, and gets a dual moveset woth longer range and fast attacks if u want a strength spear. It also gets a really strong 5 hit combo and looks super fancy.

any clue of how to get this , if accidently used KING'S FLAME ERGO ?
This weapon is so disgustingly good that I’m actively trying to use other weapons to at least provide some kind of variety and challenge again.
+Best range out of all large weapons
+Fastest out of all large weapons
+Amazing crowd control and strong poke attack
+Very good fable arts
+Scales insanely well with motivity
+Solid stagger damage
The only real downside is that it’s really bad in corridors, but the stab heavy attack makes up for it.
