Blind Man's Double-Sided Spear is a Weapon in Lies of P. Blind Man's Double-Sided Spear is a weapon set that consists of the following parts, Blind Man's Double-Sided Spear Blade and Blind Man's Double-Sided Spear Handle. In Lies of P, weapons are found as a single gear such as sabers, swords, knives, and even heavy, blunt weapons, each weapon you discover consists of a Blade and a Handle that can be dismantled and combined with other pieces to forge a unique weapon of your preference.
Where to Find Blind Man's Double-Sided Spear in Lies of P
- Location: St. Frangelico Cathedral
- Nearest Stargazer: St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel
- From the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel Stargazer, head to the next large room and go down the stairs to head down the large gap on the floor. Follow the path to the large room with rotating gears. Head for the ladder on the other side of the room, climb up, and then use the thin beams and wooden planks to head to the other side again to climb yet another ladder. Up here, make a U-turn to the left and carefully cross the thin beam to another wooden platform, guarded by a Bloated Carcass. Follow the short path, and then climb down the ladder. Follow the halls until you reach a narrow, steep corridor where electric boulders will periodically fall through. Carefully make your way up, hugging the left side as you go. Follow the path along the ledge and through some Enemies and more stairs to get to the higher area of the previous room. Cross the first moving gear, and then carefully time getting on one of the second moving gear's teeth for a free ride to the other side of the room. Jump off and onto the wooden ledge to enter a small room containing the chest.
- If you've already cleared this area, from the St. Frangelico Cathedral Library Stargzer, take the elevator back and go through the room where you fought a mini-boss. You'll be in the room with the broken beams and rotating gears. Ride up the first gear to your left and hop off onto the lone wooden platform to the side. It'll lead you to a room with a chest containing the weapon.

I love how the heavy attack is an auto-block and auto-parry every time you swing the weapon.
super effective against enemies who flail. I stuck it with the tyrant murderer's dagger and it's carried me hard throughout the barren swamp (especially against the carcass bear and the big puppet with the yellow cone hat)

The way you attain this weapon is completely different. You gotta ride the wheel on the main course all the way up, not the one that the eletric balls go through...
As stated by other commenters, this weapon's strong attacks have block and parry frames, similar to the Two Dragons Sword's charge attack. What's unique about this weapon is that it applies to ALL its strong attacks, charged, uncharged and running. Each of them has a slightly different timing. The regular uncharged strong is only very slightly slower than a regular guard and deals damage at the same time, making it nearly a straight upgrade once you learn the timing. The running attack starts more slowly but has slightly extended block frames, and the strong charged attack has block frames during the charge and for a brief time immediately after the two hit combo. These free blocks combo extremely well with the payback stab fable art on the handle (the attack hits before the block/parry).
