Full Grand Exhibition Gallery Walkthrough

Entrance to the Grand Exhibition

When you reach the Grand Exhibition Gallery from Lorenzini Arcade, head up the left staircase to find a Dark Moon Moonstone of the Covenant. If you head further to the main doors of the exhibition, you'll find a Soldier Puppet and Puppet Dog, but won't be able to enter the building from here. So head back down the stairs and turn left, heading into a garden area.

By the lamppost just outside the entryway into the garden, you'll find a Dim Ergo Fragment. When you enter the garden, you'll find two Soldier Puppets and a Puppet Dog. At the base of the tree in the middle is a Fable Catalyst. Head up the stairs ahead and turn left. At the end of the walkway, there'll be yet another Soldier Puppet and Puppet Dog.

Past them, enter the gate and turn left. Patrolling the sitting area here is a Knight-looking Puppet. When defeated, it drops the LADA Shock Cartridge. You can look around this sitting area for a Special Purification Ampoule on a bench. Afterwards, head back and up the staircase just outside the gate.

 

Inside the Grand Exhibition

At the top of the staircase, go to the right to find a Legion Magazine by the railing. Continue circling around this pillar and enter the train car nearby. Pull the lever and alight at the next stop. Enter the doorway on the left, then head through the next doorway back out onto a balcony. To the left, you'll find a device you can activate to lower a ladder shortcut. Down the ladder, you'll be able to activate the Grand Exhibition Gallery Stargazer.

Through the small archway to the left, you'll find a Dark Moon Moonstone of the Covenant. You can also open the large doors here to create a shortcut back to the entrance area of the Grand Exhibition. Go back to the Stargazer, and there'll be two paths to go down - one to left and the other straight ahead past the fixture in the middle.

Start by going straight ahead. You'll find two Soldier Puppets here. Defeat them then go and grab Venigni's Urgent Repair Tool on the right. When you do so, the Industrial-looking Puppet behind it will come to life and attack you. Defeat it and further in the area, to the left, you'll find a Chain.

Return to the Stargazer and go to the path you haven't been down. Defeat the Soldier Puppet, then turn right to go behind the large canvases and obtain a Radiant Ergo Fragment. Head back and head further down this part of the exhibition. On a counter to the right will be a Crescent Moonstone and another Soldier Puppet Nearby. Look behind the canvases opposite to the counter to find a Half Moonstone. There'll be an Industrial-looking Puppet at the very end. Defeat it, then look behind the crates on the wooden platform past it to find a piece of loot.

Head up the staircase to the right. Turn left at the corner, and you'll be greeted by three Unicycle Puppets, as well as a Dual Shield Puppet. Continue further down the balcony to find a Resplendent Ergo Fragment. Go right into the doorway, and you'll find a Pink Dimensional Butterfly that drops a Technique Crank when defeated. There are two ladders in this area - one heading up, the other heading down.

If you head down a ladder, You can find a piece of Quartz from a chest to the right. Patrolling the area is a Puppet wielding an electric axe. It's guarding the path up the stairs ahead that leads to a gate you can unlock back to the entrance of the exhibition. When defeated it drops the Strength Amulet. After you've unlocked the shortcut gate, head back up the ladder.

Ascend the next ladder and turn right onto a narrow walkway. At the corner, fight the Soldier Puppet then continue forward. You'll find two Unicycle Puppets on different parts of the walkway ahead. If you have the Puppet String equipped, you can use your Legion Arm to quickly zip over to them and avoid getting knocked off the platform. Defeat them both, then you can safely pick up the Acid Canister from the corner.

To the left of the railed walkway to entered this area from, you'll find a ladder going down. Take it and go to the end to find Belle. She asks you to clear the way and defeat someone called Victor in particular so that she can escape the Grand Exhibition. She'll meet you at Hotel Krat after you've successfully done so.

Go  back up the ladder and turn left. On the narrow walkway, you'll find another Dual Shield Puppet. You may want to lead it back onto the wider platforms to have an easier time fighting it. Afterwards, you'll want defeat the two Unicycle Puppets ahead so that they don't knock you off. Turn left at the thin walkway to grab a Star Fragment. Then, make your way forward and down the ladder at the other end of the walkway.

At the bottom, turn right towards the ledge, then look to the left to find an Acid Abrasive. You can also activate the device here to lower the ladder shortcut going back to the Stargazer. Head through the doorway next to the Acid Abrasive, and you'll find a note called Resurrection! Champion Victor has returned!.

Walk past the puppet displays and head down the stairs. Turn right at the bottom to find a Dim Ergo Fragment behind some small crates. When you head forward, two Soldier Puppets will leave their pedestals. After defeating them, the Industrial Puppet will break through the gates ahead of you. Defeat it, then go to the left of the stairs. There's another Industrial Puppet here, and when it's defeated you can loot a Legion Caliber from the nearby chest. Opposite to the chest will be a Shot Put underneath a puppet that explodes when you approach it.

Head through the gates the large puppet broke through next. Turn right and head up the staircase. Go onto the thin blue walkway at the end, where you'll be able to go left. You'll find a ringing receiver you can answer to speak to Arlecchino. The answer to his riddle is 'Egg', which when chosen, will grant you the King of Riddles' Hint. This second riddle will lead you to the Trinity Key of the area.

Face the blue walkway and go through the hallway on your left. Turn the corner and you'll find a Puppet Gunner in the next room. Head down the staircase through the next doorway, then look to the right to find two statues of women. Turn the statue on the right so that her outstretched arm points towards the other statue, then the panel between the two statues will sink downwards, allowing you to pick up the Trinity Key. This key can be used to access the Trinity Sanctum within the Estella Opera House.

Make your way through the doorway opposite to the statues. Inside the tram ahead will be a Puppet Gunner. Next to it, on the left inside the tram, is a Crescent Moonstone you can pick up. On the left side of the room, you can find a Sharp Pipe. When you're done looting the place, go through the doorway on the left side of the room and head up the staircase. You'll find a Knife-wielding Puppet at the top. Defeat it and loot the Legion Plug from the chest. On the ledge of the balcony here, you'll also find a note called Order of Kroud Report.

Go back down the stairs and head into the doorway on the opposite side of the doorway to entered the room from. On the left, you'll find a pair of double doors that requires a key. When you enter the large area on the right, you'll have to face a new enemy type that looks like a muscular man on steroids. Once defeated, he'll drop a Legion Caliber. There's a Shot Put in the corner to the right when entering the arena. When you're done on this floor, head up the stairs ahead and to the left.

At the top of the stairs, look to your right to find a device that unlocks a shortcut ladder back to the Stargazer and a chest next to it that contains the Sturdy Krat Supply Box. On the left, you can go downstairs to obtain the Crumpled Baptist's Doodle. At the very end, you'll find a Crack's Calling, letting you know that there's a boss fight ahead. Interact with the double doors whenever you're ready.

 

Boss: Champion Victor

When you enter his boss arena, you'll find that Champion Victor looks a lot like the Elite human you fought earlier. His moveset is fairly similar, featuring a series of punches and pummels. Though he is mostly a melee fighter, many of his attacks have wide swings and hits that can affect big areas around him. One move in particular to watch out for is when he winds up his right arm and grabs you, keeping you in place while performing multiple punches onto you. This move deals a lot of damage, and you'll want to avoid it as best you can.

When taken down to about half health, a cutscene will play where he removes his restraints. His moveest remains largely the same, the main difference being that they hit quicker and do more damage. When defeated, you will meet Simon Manus, an Alchemist who believes that the Petrification Disease is the next step to human evolution. While speaking to him, you'll be put into a Lie System Scenario. He asks you what you think his 'cure' has created. If you answer the truth, 'Monsters', he'll ridicule you for being short sighted and will explain that the experiments they did on the Isle of Alchemists allowed them to harness the power of Ergo. You'll then be rewarded with the Saintess of Mercy Statue Gallery Key and the Reborn Champion's Ergo.

Activate the Stargazer that appears in the middle of the arena to gain access to the Grand Exhibition Conference Room Stargazer.

 

Back to Hotel Krat

When you return to Hotel Krat, there are a few NPCs you can speak to for new dialogue. You'll find Belle has relocated by the pillar opposite to Polendina. You can speak to her to learn what she was doing at the Grand Exhibition. Behind her, speak to Eugenie, and she'll tell you that Alidoro has moved to the Barren Swamp and asks you to hand him the Four-fingered Glove. Polendina can be given the Sturdy Krat Supply Box, and in return besides increasing his wares, you'll also be given a Vivid Ergo Fragment. Finally, you can speak to Sophia to learn a little bit more about Simon Manus.

 

Saintess of Mercy Statue

When you've concluded business at Hotel Krat, return to the Grand Exhibition Gallery Stargazer. Make your way back to the arena where you fought the Elite human. Just before you get to hisarena, interact with the locked doors on the left of the path to open up the room with the Saintess of Mercy Statue. This statue can be offered Gold Coin Fruit to allow you to respecc your Legion Arms, Levels, and P-Organ upgrades. For more information on it, please visit its individual page.

 

Progressing to New Areas

When you're done with the statue, teleport back to the Grand Exhibition Conference Room Stargazer. Head through the doorway underneath the balcony Simon was standing on, then head up the stairs ahead. Turn right at the corner and continue upwards until you find a cable train. By the train, you'll once again find the Red Fox and Black Cat. They'll ask you for a Gold Coin Fruit to cure the Black Cat's creeping blindness. Though they've received help from the Alchemists before, they don't have enough to fully cure his condition. If you do hand over the fruit, they'll be grateful and reward you with the Quixotic Record and the Beg Gesture.

Interact with the gate to the cable train next. Venigni will reach out and while he can't point you exactly where the Isle of Alchemists is, he sends you off to find the Golden Ergo at the Barren Swamp.
