Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard

The Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard Stargazer is the second Stargazer of the Elysion Boulevard. In the room to your left, you'll find a Wandering Merchant and an electrified elevator. Stock up on some wares, then head back to the previous room. Make your way through the doorway leading out and turn right. Up ahead, there's a Puppet Marksman and a Commoner Puppet behind the corner. Take them out and climb up onto the tiled roof ahead. Another Commoner Puppet will round the corner. Defeat it, then turn the corner yourself.

On your right, you'll find an item on a very skinny plank of wood. If you try to approach it the Grenade Puppet above you will try to knock you off. You can either run as fast as you can to pick up the Dim Ergo Fragment, or circle around the roof to climb up the ladder and defeat the puppet first. There is another item up on the same platform the Grenade Puppet was on. When you approach it, however, a Commoner Puppet will climb up to attack you. Defeat it, then loot the Venigni's Krat Landmark Guide II.

Head back down onto the tiled roof and walk towards the blue roof. Gemini will pipe up and you'll see a red butterfly appear in front of you. This is your first encounter with a Dimensional Butterfly. Follow and defeat the butterfly to gain some useful materials. This butterfly in particular may drop a Hidden Moonstone. If you take too long, however, the butterfly will disappear.

At the blue roof, you'll have two paths to choose from - going down a ladder or crossing the blue roof. You can go down the ladder now to pick up some items, but we will cover that area later in the walkthrough. Instead, cross the blue roof and you'll find a Star Fragment in the corner. Continue forward into the apartment, where you can interact with the door to learn more about the Petrification disease that's spread throughout the town.

Exit the apartment and climb down the ladder to the left. To your right, you'll find another ladder going up. Before you head up there, a Krat Police will walk in from the archway ahead. Defeat it, and you will be given a new weapon, the Krat Police Baton made up of the Krat Police Baton Head and Krat Police Baton Handle.

With that done, climb up the other ladder next to the one you used to come down here. At the top, you can interact with the open window to speak with the Weeping Woman. She'll tells you a little more about the Petrification Disease and explains that she was separated from her baby for their safety. She'll ask you for a favor - go to Krat City Hall and bring her back her baby. Agree to begin this NPC quest.

Make your way back down the ladder and head through the archway forward. To the right, you'll find the Torn Doodle. To the left, there's a Puppet Dog and a Puppet Swordsman at the corner. Defeat them, then look to the left at the corner. You can unlock a gate here to open a shortcut and pick up a Sawtoothed Wheel. This shortcut leads into the area you would've gone to if you descended the ladder by the blue roof.

If you haven't explored this area yet, head down the stairs and turn right at the bottom. There will be a Hidden Moonstone here and a Puppet Dog. Look left from the dog and you'll find a very narrow alleyway. Ahead will be a Puppet Butler next to an Electric Shock trap. Defeat it and the other Puppet Butler Ahead. Continue forward through the alleyway, picking up the Hidden Moonstone on the left, then turn right at the corner. Be careful of the Electric Shock trap here and the Puppet Butler hidden in an alcove to the left. At the end of this alleyway is a Star Fragment. 

Return to the steps leading down from the shortcut gate, and this time head straight ahead from the gate. Defeat the two Puppet Dogs in front by an item, being careful of the Electric Shock trap on your right. The item on the ground is a Gemini's Emergency Protection. Pick it up, then continue forward. Just before you get to the corner, you'll find a ladder to your right that leads you back up to where you encountered the Dimensional Butterfly. At the corner of the street, you'll find a Puppet Butler behind a car and a Radiant Ergo Fragment.

Turn the corner to find a Top Hat Puppet ahead. Defeat it, being careful of or using the Electric Shock traps against it. Ahead at the corner is another Radiant Ergo Fragment. Turn right at the corner and you'll find a single lit window on the left. If you approach it, you can speak to Toma who mentions his friend Murphy. Make your way further down the street and two Puppet Dogs will jump out from a nearby window when you approach the Puppet Butler. After they've been dealt with, activate the Electric Shock trap in the alleyway to the right. When it dissipates, you can loot the chest at the end for the Workshop Union Standard Insulation Converter. With that done, the area is cleared and you can return to the shortcut gate.

Out the gate, head straight ahead down the street. A Puppet Swordsman will burst out of the apartment doors to your left. Defeat it, then head in where it came from. Repair the elevator here and this will unlock a shortcut back up to the Wandering Merchant at the Stargazer. Next to the building, you'll find an alcove with an Electric Shock Trap. Trigger it, then pick up Venigni's Urgent Repair Tool when it's safe.

 

Alchemist Bridge & Boss: Mad Donkey

Head further forward and unlock the gate at the end. You'll find yourself at the Alchemist Bridge. Prepare yourself for a fight and cross the bridge. Near the end, you'll find the Mad Donkey speaking to someone inside a carriage. He'll notice you and recognize who you are, after which he'll turn hostile. The boss fight against the Mad Donkey will begin here.

The Mad Donkey's moveset varies, with some attacks having long and delayed wind up times, some being quick and short combos, and others being fast bot long combos with multiple attacks. Despite this, all of his moves have one thing in common - they have a long recovery time. Dodge or guard his attacks, and after they've missed or been blocked, counterattack with a few of your own moves. He does have a multi-hit Fury Attack, however, which needs to be perfect guarded.

The Mad Donkey doesn't have an increased moveset at half health. When defeated, you'll enter a cutscene where you'll finally be introduced to Geppetto. He wants to help figure out why the puppets in Krat have all gone into a frenzy, but first he explains that the puppets at the Krat City Hall must be dealt with first. After the cutscene ends, you'll be rewarded with the Mad Donkey's Hunting Apparel, Mad Donkey's Mask, Krat City Hall Key, the Enigma Assembly Tool, and your maximum number of Pulse Cells will be increased. The Enigma Assembly Tool will allow you to mix and match different Weapon Blades and Handles to create custom Weapons at any Stargazer.

Head towards the end of the bridge. Before interacting with the doors, turn left and look behind the carriage to find a Hidden Moonstone. Unlock the gates with your key and you'll be at the Krat City Hall.
