I guess this thing is cool, but like many I wish we got Laxasia's sword...

A yes laxasia she wields a huge lightning greatsword and in phase 2 it turns into some sort of lightning ark. That could make for a cool fable weaapon transformation, naaah instead have a big spinny wheel.
Do not get me wrong i really enjoy this weapon and think it's very good, however it is just a bit strange I suppose. Then again you get a holy greatsword from fouco and a goddamn katana from a green monster so it would not be the first time.

I Don't Need Anyone Else. I Have Uroboros! I cast off my frail humanity and became something greater!

I've noticed a few things about the handle art that aren't mentioned in game. For one, it seems to reduce the stamina cost of attacking by a pretty significant amount. It also seems to reduce the durability consumption a lot. For example, when attacking without the fable art active, after 6 attacks, I lost 7 durability, but with it active, I only lost 1 with the same amount of attacks (I think I did have a p-organ upgrade that reduced weapon durability consumption, but still)

With handle art active each attack does multiple hits which can be pretty useful, for example you can instantly proc Arm of God to full power with a single swing.

Better start running, Gepetto. Imma cut a new hole in you...

Does this have a hidden damage modifier? I am hitting much harder than other dex weapons, 900-1000 vs 600-700. Its vastly outperforming the nameless puppet sword, even though it should have better scaling and only 60 ish difference in base attack. Plus its stagger is quite beastly for just a sword.
The charge r2 has a good bend, you can duck under certain attacks of tall enemies, especially bosses. Very handy.

were you disappointed that the electric saw didnt actually slowly slice through your enemies? fear not, for the TRUE pizza cutter is here!

This thing is ****ing incredible, but I guarantee everyone saw Laxasia's boring ass shitty lightning sword and thought we were getting that with her boss Ergo. I'm very satisfied. :)
Jokes aside, try this thing out on a NG+ run, it's heaps of fun. The R2 and charged R2's don't collide with walls so, y'know. It's the sword we didn't want we needed. One of my favourite boss weapons in game. That and it even does slightly more damage than my beloved Two Dragons Sword. Slot like two or three quartz into a fable related art and voila you can chainsaw stagger everything all the time. It's great, don't let the salty bastards below me let you out on a great weapon.

In all seriousness, try this thing out on a NG+ build, it's surprisingly fun. That and chainsaw does indeed go brrr

Don't miss out on a great weapon. Try it out on a NG+ run, it shreds on a technique build.

This weapon is terrible, it hits the wall way too many times, even when there's tons of space, it hits everything around it except the enemies.

Could this still technically be viable for a quality build? The page doesn't say if it's scaling changes when you upgrade it but B and C scaling don't seem too bad. Idk I'm just impatient for quality special weapons and so far there have been none

Just think a little about how the special weapon market works in this game.
It's just someone with artefacts that only accepts boss's ergo as a currency it would not make any sense lore whise if he actualy had those bosses's weapons

Why are the grindstones not working on this weapon when i throw it? Someone with some data?

i find it weird that when you kill a boss with a weapon such as romeo and lax, you don't get their weapon, instead you get a entirly new weapon, wouldn't it have been easier for the animators and modeling team to just downscale their weapon instead of making a whole new one?

This things cool, but I guarantee everyone saw Laxasia's bad ass lightning sword and thought we were getting that with her boss Ergo. I'm disappointed. :(

Very meh imo
It's got good damage, but that's about all it has. Slowish speed, short range, and just looks kind of bad. You're literally just slashing people with a disk.
Very disappointing for such a late game boss weapon imo

Is it just me or do the guard frames start immediately after hitting L1 for this weapon?
Sadly this isn't the greatsword we all wanted but it's actually pretty darn good
I resent this weapon solely because the boss weapon off of the Sad Zealot's Ergo could have been Laxasia's badass lightning rod greatsword and I'm mad that it's not.
why this isnt an advance scaling lightning sword we may never know
