Owl Doctor Fight Strategy

The Best Tips for Owl Doctor:

The Owl Doctor wields a Bone-Cutting Saw weapon and a dagger. When his dialogue concludes, he will start a pre-fight animation. The Owl Doctor relies on his weapon and deals number of swift melee attacks. He can also jump at you as he attacks with his saw. Be mindful of your limited space and make sure you don't get backed up into the corner. Like other Stalker mini-bosses, you will be able to circle behind him and backstab him. 

A lot of the time, if you allow his combo to play out, he will be advancing toward you and you may react by continuing to back up, so just make sure you are not backed up to the wall. Circle around the pillar instead so you can attempt to change angle instead of getting stuck with nowhere to dodge. In between his combo attacks, he tends to stand idly for a brief period, allowing you to run behind him for a backstab. You can continue to strike him to knock him down. As he attacks, he can also sometimes be interrupted mid-animation.

If you're going to keep a distance, he also has a ranged attack where he can throw his dagger at you. Quickly dodge left or right and prepare for him to charge at you. Block these incoming attacks while circling around. Keep your stance parallel to him and watch out for when he decides to use his unblockable Fury attack. Approach him aggressively in between combos and you will be given the opportunity to stagger him and deal a Fatal attack, allowing you to continue to deplete his HP until you've cleared the fight.
