Red Fox (Boss) is a Boss in Lies of P. Red Fox (Boss) is one of the Stalkers seen throughout the game in various locations commonly seen with Black Cat, her brother. She is a generally amicable NPC who is involved in other questlines, but players will have the option to battle her as a mini-boss later in the game. If you choose to show her kindness, she later introduces herself as Claudia. Eliminating Bosses will usually cause them to drop rare Ergo. The Ergo you obtain by defeating a boss is extremely valuable. Players will eventually be able to use these to exchange them for special Weapons and Amulets. Where to Find Red Fox Boss in Lies of P

She is first encountered as an NPC with Black Cat at the Workshop Union Culvert. Once you progress to the final chapter of the game in Arche Abbey, Red Fox can be fought as an optional boss at the Arche Abbey Upper Area.

Red Fox (Boss) Fight Strategy

The Best Tips for Red Fox (Boss):

 

The Red Fox is encountered in a relatively tight corridor as opposed to other open boss combat areas. She wields a Curved Saber and relies on basic, swift melee sword maneuvers and combinations. This includes a series of strikes and slashes. It may be a good idea to wield a long Weapon. If you keep some space between you, you might be able to see her attack animation as she spins and slowly approaches before transitioning into an attack which will give you time to counter or dodge. 

If you stay relatively close she may charge past you and try to swing. Just after she swings, you may be able to get behind her and put yourself in a perfect position for a backstab, which will knock her down. This maneuver will work for most Stalker combat encounters. 

In between attacks she will jump back and square herself to you. You can approach to force her attack or wait for her to approach. Just make sure you have space behind you and don't get caught without any space to dodge. Circle around her and she will mirror your position. Keep a mid-distance and you will watch as she tries to lunge. A number of times,s she will deal a combo of melee attacks. If you can, you will be able to hold you defense until the whole attack is over and you can begin fighting back before her next attack. You will be able to roll through her regular swings which can put you in a better angle to hopefully also put you in a position to back stab her. Since her actions are quick, you may need to rely on quick standard combo attacks and be conservative with your slower heavy attacks.

Overhead Sword Swing Swings her sword down overhead. Dodge backward and continue to back up in case there are follow up attacks in the combo.
Uppercut swing Swings her sword from below up Block or dodge away from the attack
Jump attack The Red Fox leaps followed by striking down which can knock you over. Block this attack as she leaps.
Spin charge attack She twirls as she advances swifly and launches her swing attack.  Block this attack. Since far enough for her to change, you should be able to see it coming.
