Puppet of the Future is a Boss in Lies of P. Puppet of the Future is an optional mini-boss puppet made of metal parts located on the lower floors of the Workshop Union Culvert. An iconic feature of the puppet is its long weighted arms that are able to support the whole puppet. Eliminating Bosses will usually cause them to drop rare Ergo. The Ergo you obtain by defeating a boss is extremely valuable. Players will eventually be able to use these to exchange them for special Weapons and Amulets. Mini-bosses will not drop unique Ergo, but you will still be able to gain valuable loot.

The Puppet of the Future is a slow-moving puppet whose attacks mostly consist of stomping and swinging of his arms. The first location of the Puppet of the Future in the Workshop Union Culvert is in a pool of Corruption that causes damage over time as it builds up. This can be drained with a lever in the workshop found as you continue to explore, so it is recommended that you drain the pool and come back to this mini-boss for an easier time. It is located past the corridors- you will be passing Red Fox and her brother into the next set of corridors. Take the first left where there will be a few puppet enemies and an elite enemy, a Steampunk Puppet that will drop the Swordsmanship Master's Amulet when defeated -- all located in the hall with an open gate and the glowing red light. Go all the way to the end of the hall. This is where you will find the lever to drain the pool.
After draining the Corruption pool, you can return to the Puppet of the Future without worrying about taking in additional damage. When you lock on, you will be able to lock on a specific limb or area. Avoid using Fulminis since it can shock you back once the metal of the puppet is charged after you hit it. The Puppet of the Future is weak at the knees, so hug the area close to him or stay on its heel. Step away when he starts to lift one or two of its legs. He does this slowly which will give you enough time to step away. Watch where it steps since it can go forward or backward.
His clunky figure doesn't give him a lot of agility, but its attacks will deal a lot of damage and knock you back. Watch its HP bar for when it is highlighted in white, then run in to attack aggressively to result in a stagger. It will buckle at the knees and reveal a weak point. Knock the other knee down to keep it staggered.
Continue running in and targeting its knees while watching where its feet are positioned. This fight requires a lot of patience but will be easy to clear.

Holy **** this boss is tough! I found it incredibly hard to dodge its slow spin attack, and when it stomps its feet it sends me into a panic!! No but really this boss is super easy, as long as you arent getting poisoned. To drain the poison, go past where the npc Fox and Cat were, into a set of tunnels. You'll eventually get jump scared by a bigger puppet that crashes through a wooden wall. Hes guarding a room with a lever. Use that and you'll hear rumbling. The poison is gone now! Don't worry too much about the boss himself, try to stay under him when he spins, and just step back when you see his legs rise. Use electric Legion arm or consumables if you need some extra damage. The hit boxes of this boss are bonkers. I'm having flash back to the Last Giant fight in DS2.
I'm guessing we're getting hit by the shockwave rather than the foot, but they should have made an animation matching the hitbox in that case.

What they don't tell you here is when you first encounter the boss his arena is covered in poison. There's a lever later on in the level that will drain it; once you do this the fight becomes pretty easy.
Everyone saying this guy is easy is lying! He’s basically the pin wheel of Lies of P!
